इस्लामाबाद : वित्तीय संकट से जूझ रही पाकिस्तान इंटरनेशनल एअरलाइंस ने बृहस्पतिवार को घोषणा की है कि इसने ‘‘संदिग्ध लाइसेंस” वाले 150 पायलटों को विमान उड़ाने से रोक दिया है. यह घटनाक्रम कराची विमान हादसे की प्रारंभिक जांच रिपोर्ट आने के एक दिन बाद हुआ है जिसमें हादसे के लिए पायलटों और हवाई यातायात नियंत्रण कर्मियों को जिम्मेदार बताया गया है. पाकिस्तान इंटर्नेशनल एयरलाइंस (PIA) के प्रवक्ता ने कहा, ‘‘इतने पायलटों को विमान उड़ाने से रोके जाने से पीआईए का उड़ान परिचालन प्रभावित होगा.”उन्होंने कहा कि फर्जी डिग्रीधारक छह पायलटों को पहले ही बर्खास्त किया जा चुका है. जिओ न्यूज ने पीआईए प्रवक्ता के हवाले से कहा कि जो पायलट अपने लाइसेंस को प्रमाणित कराएंगे, उन्हें ड्यूटी पर वापस आने दिया जाएगा.

प्रवक्ता ने कहा, ‘‘हमने नागरिक उड्डयन प्राधिकरण से शेष लाइसेंसों की सूची भेजने को कहा है. हमें रिपोर्ट मिल गई है और हम अपना स्तर बेहतर बनाने पर काम  कर रहे हैं.”पीआईए अध्यक्ष ने नागरिक उड्डयन प्राधिकरण (सीएए) को पत्र लिखकर संदिग्ध और फर्जी लाइसेंस वाले  शेष पायलटों का ब्योरा देने का आग्रह किया है. उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘फर्जी लाइसेंस वाले सभी पायलटों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाएगी.

वाणिज्यिक परिचालन को सुरक्षित करने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाए जाएंगे.”डॉन अखबार ने खबर दी है कि पायलटों को विमान उड़ाने से रोकने का फैसला तब लिया गया जब उड्डयन मंत्री गुलाम सरवर खान ने  नेशनल असेंबली में बुधवार को खुलासा किया कि अनेक वाणिज्यिक पायलटों के पास ‘संदिग्ध लाइसेंस’ हैं. खान ने  कहा कि पायलटों के ध्यान की कमी की वजह से हादसा हुआ. उन्होंने कहा कि पीआईए का विमान पायलटों और हवाई  यातायात नियंत्रण कर्मचारियों की मानवीय भूल की वजह से दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हुआ.

पीआईए का लाहौर से कराची जा रहा एक विमान 22 मई को उतरने से थोड़ी देर पहले कराची के जिन्ना अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाईअड्डे के पास आवासीय इलाके में  दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया था. इसमें 91 यात्री और चालक दल के आठ सदस्य सवार थे. दुर्घटना में दो लोग चमत्कारिक ढंग से  बच गए थे और शेष अन्य की मौत हो गई थी.
